To be a disciple of Jesus is to become His apprentice – learning to do what He did and to do it right in the middle of everyday life as we know it. “Faith is spelled R-I-S-K” is a motto that we can carry along with us on our journey as Christians, every week, from Sunday to Saturday, from birth to death, as Kingdom people. Come join us as we learn together using a Vineyard study booklet, Biblical passages, and some outside sources to explore what it means to risk in faith within our everyday lives. Please contact Ron Giles at to let us know you are coming!

Abortion and Christian Social Ethics

Susan Van Riesen & Mako Nagasawa
Saturday, July 9, 16, 23 | 9am-10:15am
The issue of abortion at this moment in our country is so complex that many of us have not made space recently to think through it biblically, historically, and in terms of wholistic social ethics. Now that Roe v. Wade is, once again, on the forefront of the news and conversations, it may be time for us to learn, listen, discuss and ask God for more clarity and wisdom about this pivotal topic. Mako Nagasawa, the author of Abortion Policy and Christian Social Ethics in the United States (2021), will be leading us in conversation from his home in Boston.
