Julie grew up in the Bay Area and after college her love for missions brought her to Europe where she served for several years at the first Vineyard Church in Munich, Germany. Thirty years and four children later, Julie is delighted to be back in a Vineyard church. She started to attend Palo Alto Vineyard in 2016 when she remarried, and she is passionate about children, sharing the gospel, serving the poor, and supporting singles within the church community (as she herself was a single parent for 8 years). Favorite pastimes include gluten free baking, afternoon tea (must be her English roots), and spending time at the ocean with her husband.
